Thought you all might enjoy some reading on Sunday.  I hope the links work from there.

The links below go to three articles written by Neil Shea that feature, at least in part, TF Slugger and/or FOB Airborne.  The last two are very nice pieces on Blackfoot, particularly Blue Platoon.

This one about the DBIED features the TOC crew, though the editors screwed up and removed the introductions, so it just awkwardly refers to a few Soldiers by last name in quote attribution:

This one features EOD and Blackfoot as they deal with an IED in a culvert:

http://www.stripes.com/news/ieds-trucks-and-a-dilemma-in-the-afghanistan-night-1.150177

The longest piece, this features LT Irvine and Blue Platoon's ambush from a few weeks ago:

Take Care,

Ron

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Blackfoot Troop is one of five of my troops, but they're the best at using social media.  When you Google 3-89 CAV, they always come up first....
