Some of you may have noticed reference in a couple of places on DWF to "Range Officers".

Range Officers are the newest DWF Staff Members, and they are:

SHOOTIST357

Supermagfan

zoommb

Dave_Ks

brucertx

DW Range Officers are pretty much the Front Men of DWF. They each have unique skills, knowledge, and shooting interests, there are very few questions about DW Firearms, DWF, reloading, firearms maintenance, etc. that one of these guys cannot help you find an answer for.

Like all of us, they have busy lives, and the requirements of job, family, hobbies, etc. can sometimes distance them from DWF. Now that we have essentially doubled our Staff presence, our Members now have twice as many resources to reach out to.

Look at it this way: When you visit a well run, top flight shooting range, there is usually a Range Officer. The RO is there to maintain positive behaviors, make sure everyone "plays" safely, and helps with the little problems that crop up from time to time.

I am sure you will all  welcome Mike, Phil, Michael, Dave, and Bruce in their new role in keeping DWF the Best Shooting Forum on the web.

We are planning a "Meet the Staff" Topic so that each Staff Member can introduce himself, talk a bit about the things important in his life, and give everyone a feel for his particular "passions". I know enough about our Staff Members to assure you that they are interesting people with a vast range of Life experience, interests, and hobbies.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Great choices! You have enlisted a well rounded group of knowledgable Dan enthusiasts there.

Jody, Steve,

Things just keep getting better and better at the DWF.  What a fantastic support network us DW fanatics are fortunate to have. LB is awesome on the custom "furniture". Eric- EWK- is the best when it comes to parts offerings and metal work. The NEW site layout combined with the new fast server is second to none. A great group of range officers, moderators, and administrators. AND hundreds of Dan Wesson enthusiasts to interact with........

I know I will step up from supporterdwas to Dan Club as soon as I pay off a few recent acquisitions.....

Thanks, many members have expressed the same feelings.

The great part of adding Range Officers is that we are not trying to fix a problem we are trying to make something good even better.

Our new Range Officers have such a great depth of shooting and DW experience, this only helps everyone on DWF.
