Do the 10+ inch barrels only come with partridge sights. I'm in the market and I need to know.

Andrew, the 10" , 12 , and 15" all have interchangable front sights and can use any of the sights ,not just Patridge sights. However , the patridges come in different heights and widths for the 3 different length barrels. The standard colored insert sights also come in 2 shorter heights for the longer barrels but the standard height will be fine for 10". The 10" V is my favorite small frame length. The longer sight radius makes accuracy easier . The 12 and 15 " lengths must be supported as in Silhouette or bench rest as they tend to waver. At least for me they do. I have never seen the 12 or 15 in 22LR. That doesn't mean they were not made.

Let me re-phrase that. I know the sights are interchangeable, but what was the OEM, period correct, original configuration. Trying to keep everything period correct.

I think the longest barrels had the narrowest front sight. I think Patridges came with the 10 through 15 inch.
