OfflineWarned you I did, foolish I'd look. Â
Â
Thank God Shoot stepped in and stopped my embarrassing display.
Â
Which gets me to trying to find a comprehensive list of Dan Wesson revolver models. Â (No slight intended to the pistoleros; it's just my poor brain still doesn't have the revolvers down yet.)
Â
Starting with the serial number list and adding what I've seen mentioned here I see the following models
Â
11 Â Â Â - caliber 357 Â - pork external nut
12 Â Â Â - caliber 357 Â - pork external nut
14 Â Â Â - caliber 357 Â - pork internal nut (?)
14-2 Â - caliber 357
15 Â Â Â - caliber 357 Â - pork internal nut (?)
15-2 Â - caliber 357
15-2 fixed barrel
22 Â Â Â - caliber 22
What's the model number for the 22 Magnum?
32 Â Â Â - caliber 32
What's the model number for the 32-20 caliber?
What's the model number for the Li'l Dan?
360 Â Â Â - caliber ?
709 Â Â Â - 38 caliber
714 Action Cup - caliber 357
714 PPC (What is this?)
714 Â Â - caliber 357
715 Â Â - caliber 357
715 fixed barrel
722 Â Â - caliber 22
41 Â Â Â - caliber 41
44 Â Â Â - caliber 44
45 Â Â Â - caliber 45
741 Â Â - caliber 41
744 Â Â - caliber 44
745 Â Â - caliber 45
40 Â Â Â - caliber 357 Supermag
375 Â Â - caliber 375 Supermag
Is the blued 41 Supermag a 414?
445 Â Â - caliber 44 Supermag
What's the 460 Rowland?
740 Â Â - caliber 357 Supermag
Is there a 7375?
7414 Â Â - caliber 41 Supermag
7445 Â Â - caliber 44 Supermag
7445 AGS - What is this?
Â
Why do I sometimes see some models designated with a D or a W?
Â
What else am I missing?
Â
I may put this is a spreadsheet so I can add data like serial numbers and years of production and factory. Â Who knows someday I may actually know something about Dan's. Â

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Offline95XL883, that's an impressive DW model list. Probably the most complete I've seen posted to date.
I can only pick out one Palmer model that's not included in your list...the 14/714 Fixed Barrel Â
This particular model is really an elusive little bugger...so far, I've only seen this model a couple times in the 714 Snubby variation, however I am confident that more varying examples exist.
