This isn't exactly DW specific, but... every few weeks I advance search leaving the keyword blank, catagory: modern firearms, condition: used or new old stock, and limit the search to the state I live in. Â I have found misspelled and poorly listed items that would never be caught by a search, including the occasional DW. Â If I find something I want I ask the seller if he/she would consider a FTF deal if I win the auction. Â Since no one else ever finds the listing the bid rarely gets too high and if they agree to a FTF transaction then I pay no FFL fees or shipping, which is perfectly legal in my state. Â
It's kind of like fishing for guns, but I've gotten some great deals that way, and there is a certain sense of adventure. Â The danger is that you often find things that you never knew you absolutely needed
