I just received an email from GB stating they are going to adjust fees to sellers who use their reserve feature by adding another additional 2% fee for using reserve to the final fees at the conclusion of the auction.Â I guess the answer to that is just move opening pricing to the minimum you would be willing to sell your item for.Â It appears to me that GB is just getting greedy.Â Â

Here is GB policy:

Â Â Reserve Price Fees

We are now charging a fee to create a Reserve Price listing, and limiting the amount of time Reserve Price listings can be relisted for free. Buyers do not want to waste their time bidding on what they perceive to be overpriced items which tend to clog up the overall site. We recognize that Reserve Price items have a purpose in some cases so they are not being eliminated. If you do not want to pay the Reserve Price fee, create a listing using Take a Shot to let buyers make you an offer on the item.

It would be nice if they charged more for the single day listings, I think those clog up the site more than anything.

I don't get reserve auctions, what's the point start the auction for what you want or need.

That is the other option to a reserve auction some buyers like to bid find the reserve.Â Most individuals know what the value of a particular gun is worth because they have all done their homework.Â Â
