I get six various gun, NRA and hunting magazines every month, sadly during the summer

months I only get a few minutes of "throne time" with each, which can leave missed

articles. I always read the back page Authors and as of date John Taffin would be  my

favorite. The Sept. issue of GUNS magazine hits on an issue that has been raise here

before of how this forum is different than most of the others and it's members .

I would like to share the link to the article.

Blacktop, that was an excellent article and I enjoyed reading it.  It certainly makes one think about things.

I know sitting at a computer day in and day out is not my dream job so if I didn't have dreams I would go nuts!

I like John's articles as well and he's written several about Dan Wesson's over the years.

Darn, I can't get my ol' beater confuzer to zoom in on that article.Broken Computer Cry I'll have to sneak a peek at work, when I get a couple extra minutes.

I do agree that John Taffin has written a bunch of great articles through the years on Dan Wessons & many other makes. He was instrumental on DW's IHMSA involvement from the early days...darn near day one. I'm glad he's still writing & that gun rags are happy to print his stuff. He is certainly one of the legends living amongst us!

Here's a shot of JT showing a no-nonsense grip hold on a DW Hunter .44 from just last week...or last month...or (I forgetLaugh )
