Some here may recall that I had come across this a year or so ago. I'd like to get some feedback on it's value. I've been away from the shooting scene so I'd appreciate input from the knowledgeable folk here who are more up to speed than I am.
I know this will just be conjecture as it may be less valuable to one and more to another. I'm looking for a "ballpark" range. I have my own but that doesn't mean I close.
For those unfamiliar with this I believe it was a DW salesman's display tool. I have found no proof of them being offered for sale from the factory. As it is I have still not been able to find much info on it. I gave up looking a while back out of frustration.
This is all you will probably find doing an internet search on it:
One sold on feeBay almost 15 years ago for, I believe, $330.
I have posts on quite a few gun forums looking for info. I really didn't get any. That's about it.
A while back I had listed it on feeBay just to see what would happen. I had the start price at $2000. It didn't sell which is good as I didn't want it to. I figured I might have someone make an offer on it which didn't happen. It would have helped me determine value if someone would have.
I'd be happy to hear your opinion.

Thank you for the reply gentlemen, much appreciated.
I tried to find the recently sold one in the Going, Going, Gone section of GunBroker but I could not find it. I thought that that would be the place to find ended/sold items similar to what you can search on eBay. I also clicked on the completed listings tab and found nothing. I used the following search words on both search tabs "Dan Wesson Sure Sight, Dan Wesson Sure Site and Dan Wesson Sure Shot". I'd have liked to have seen the completed listing.
I tried posting a reply here a few days ago but when I hit Submit Reply the page went blank and did not post.
As an aside, I like the new look of the forum page. It is now rather large on my screen and it really helps with my old eyes.
