Good Afternoon Guys, thought I would share this... Yesterday I posted a want ad on my local Craigslist and have already started receiving scam emails so I thought I would share it with you guys.  First the ad stated that I'm looking for a Baldwin Banjo and that anyone that has one for sale I would be interested in it.  Below is what I received from someone.  It was actually an image attached to an email.  Needless to say I certainly hope somone isn't just tossing out a good banjo!Â
Seriously do people have nothing better to do then clog up my inbox!
Now if any of you guys know where I can find a Baldwin Banjo for a decent price let me know.

OfflineThanks for alerting us to the lurking snakes. I have had quite a few CL transactions but (knock on wood) have never been burnt. I came close one time on a small value transaction but hunted the seller down with a few threatening words and the deal quickly closed. I always make it a point to talk to the seller - you can usually get a feel of the trustworthiness of the seller through conversation.
Photo, more Steve Martin than Jerry Van Dyke... I took a few lessons as a teenager and didn't follow through with it. May wife bought me one last year for my birthday and I started taking lessons last November.Â
I've conducted several Craigslist transactions and never a problem. This want ad I posted was the first time I received an email like the one above.
