We had a blast this weekend. Made a stand that'll hold several bowling pins and killed 'em dead! A bowling alley in the next town will give me all the pins I can haul, FOR FREE! I can't remember when I've had soooo much fun with my clothes onRange Time

You don't appreciate a lot of stuff in school until you get older. Little things like being spanked every day by a middle aged woman: Stuff you pay good money for in later life.

If you're going to drink, don't drive. Don't even putt.

That does sound fun. I may have to see if a bowling alley near me would be interested in parting with some of their old pins.Uzi

That sound like a real blast, pun intended Big Grin, I enjoy pastic jugs of water with big bore handguns too.  The bowling pins would be a real treat to obtain.  I'll have to check with the local bowling alley myself, maybe a new pasttime in the works?

pin shooting!!!   We have been in an amateur league of sorts for years.

20 or so of us get together and compete on a fairly regular basis. 5 pins

on a 4'x8' table about 1' back from the front edge, pins need to be off of

the table to count, not just tipped over. 15 to 20 yards, two tables, two

shooters, first one to clear his table WINS.occasionshootingshooting

lots of lead flying down range!!!!Mini GunMini Gun

What a blast shooting   Can't be many pistols, lots of speedloaders?

What calibres are competitive?

Could a 9mm survive?

"close isn't good enough"

the Max does really good, mainly revolvers they limit you to 6 rounds in the gun no matter how many you can load all reloads are done by hand no speedloaders or extra mags allowed. .45 auto is barely able to do it, 9mm won't even come close, .357 with 180 gr. bullets does alright as long as you are running pretty stout loads. I use mainly my 40 or 740 depending on how I feel at the time, have used .41 which does quite well, most others are using .44, 788 uses his 7445 most of the time or his 740 once in a while.

It's a blast!!! definitely gets the heart pumpin and the andrenaline flowing.

Pin shoot'n is a gas, haven't done it myself is years.

Used to keep a box of old shot up pins on a shelf in the garage and drag em out quite often. Those pins got so deformed and lop sided that they wouldn't stand anymore then they had to go. My group shot .357s so they lasted probably longer than you guys with the heavy lead.

Once my better half knocked a pin down at 100 yards on the first shot with her 8" model 15-2, she said "I'm done.", smiled and sat down.

Still call her one-shot Anne once in while at the range.

 Mitch.
