I saw in jody's "What Model Do I Have" thread, he states;
Barrels were available in the following standard lengths:

4â³
6â³
8â³
10â³
12â³
15â³
Are all these lengths available for both small & large frames ?

I believe that-
Small frame barrels were available in 2 1/2", 4", 6", 8", 10", 12", and 15".
Large frame barrels were available in 4", 6", 8", and 10".
I have seen some fixed barrel models with 3" or 5" barrels. Lengths other than stated above could show up, as at times Dan Wesson may have made some custom assemblies by order.

Lonwolf nailed it, the only exception is that in recent time CZ-DW has manufactured 2" BA's for the .44 magnum which is large frame.

Fixed barrel small frames also came in 7". They also made the fixed barrel style in an interchangable BA. Â I have a 3" and a 6". Unless they were taken off a fixed barrel gun. However, the 3" is NOS. Â
Remember, the 10" large frame is not actually 10".Â

Don't forget the internal nut "Porker's". Approximately .5 inch shorter than their corresponding brothers and sisters.
