That's a great looking W12 pack! Here's my pork chop submission. Monson, 14-4. I don't know what the model designation for nickel is. Anyone out there that can complete my model number?ParaNormal_14-4_05-360x360.jpeg

Well, if we can extend this to the 12th, then I humbly submit my fourth entry.  Paternal twins- 44 and 744, Monson era (of course).

Yep.  Looks like it has barely been fired.

I found it in the back room of Cabelas of all places.  Came with a 6" VH too!

I paid too much for it, but who can put a price on satisfying DWAS?

Cabela's Hamburg?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yes sir!.  I work in Danville sometimes and always stop there on the way home.  I always seem to find something I didn't realize I needed.  I didn't expect to find such a nice Dan at Cabela's but the force was strong with this one and by the time I had opened a new account with them to finance the purchase I saved about $100.

The trigger was a little stiff so I took it apart and replaced the mainspring and trigger return spring  and did a little polishing.  Now I just need to shoot it some more.

More years ago than I care to remember, my first Cabela's experience was in Hamburg. Our son was stationed in Philadelphia straight out of USCG Basic Training. He pretty much lived at Cabela's Hamburg on his day off, and often dragged us there when we visited him.

We met up with him a couple days ago in NJ (him from NC, us from CT) and there was a Cabela's (Hamburg) bag in his hotel room.

Now we have a local Cabela's, but ten years ago Cabela's Hamburg was pretty mind boggling!

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

It's still mind-boggling to me.  Rumor has it that the Hamburg Cabela's is the largest in the world.  Not sure if true, but I've never seen a bigger Cabela's, Bass Pro Shop, or Gander Mtn anywhere.

My two rules involving Cabela's are:

1) NEVER pass a Cabela's without stopping, and

2) NEVER enter a Cabela's without buying something.

Man, I love passing a Cabela's!

Every time I've been to the Hamburg store all they have is a DW ECO or Valor, never any wheel guns.  You got a very nice 15-2 congrats!
