Does c-z just do a limited run on barrel assemblies according to pre orders. I guess ln asking if you can only buy these by ordering these and waiting till they have enough orders to make a production run.

You would be best served talking directly with Dan Wesson in Norwich rather than CZ, they will be much more responsive and have accurate information.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Cliff, if you order from DW you will get a laser etch one line roll mark. Good if you have a Norwich gun from before CZ bought them if it is blue or a 715 of the new style. If you have a Monson or Palmer gun you would most likely find one on ebay, or occasionally, Gunbroker. Or a member may have an extra. Alternatively, EWK makes batches when Eric gets enough orders. The roll mark is one line and larger than factory but the quality is comparable or better.
Ole Dog, aka the other Ron. Aka Mr.Man on Gunbroker. That moniker was selected for me by my IT Department. That would be my awesome wife who encouraged me to acquire my first firearm. Bought a few for my Second Ammendment needs and then I saw a Dan Wesson pistol pack. What a ride.

Ole dog, I'm ready to take what I can find in the way of a 2 1/2 in barrel. I'd even use a stainless if I could find one. Me and the wife only have 3 357s and a 22 mag. I'd like to have the 2 1/2 for a carry gun but I'll probably have to put it on one of my frames. I tried putting an 8in on her flea market gun. The word was,you put my barrel back on my gun. eBay auctions seem to go way high and I suspect maybe a few buddy bids. New is better. HDHIC aka cliff
