A really great concert tonite…Jackson Browne, one of my all time favorite artists, but I’ve never seen him live.

Virtually all of his great hits, only a couple of new songs. This is a very “guitar heavy” performance, and the slide guitarist was fantastic.

All in all, a great warm up for next months outing, The Eagles at TD Stadium in Boston big-grinbig-grinbig-grin

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Holy finoly! What a great time that must have been.

If you can, order the Roy Orbison Black & White album – spectacular! Jackson is on it along with The Boss and many others.

Here is a sample.

Actually, this past Christmas  my wife gave me the Boxed Set that includes Black & White CD’s and a DVD.

When I rock out with Roy at work, the “kids” just shake their heads and mumble senselessly.

Anyone else ever “travel” with the “Wilburys” ?

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I loved the Wilburys.  Roy died way too young and now Tom’s gone too.  Seems like the great artists from my youth are all leaving us too young.

That concert sounds like a great time Steve, glad you got to see him live.

I’m hoping for a US tour from my favorite artist, Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits front man for you youngsters) master of the Fender Strat and the Gibson Les Paul, he can really make them sing.Local Hero

My musical tastes run the gamut too, my play list looks like somebody threw darts at a musical artists list on a wall. laugh
