Lately I see paw prints in my side yard which the local Animal Control Officer says may be  Bobcat. At the dead end of the side street where I walk our dog most evenings is a fairly wild area where coyotes do/have resided. Looks like a bobcat may be here now too. Normally, the Ruger.380 LCP goes along, now the S&W M59 is our companion.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Steve, This was my first cat and never realized how much of a predator they are….understand your m59….but let me add they are a most beautiful animal when you can see their color up close…..quiet as hell…..

Nice shooting. Lived in the Maine woods, Greenville area, for 3 or four years. Never saw a bobcat up there. Martin though.

Bobcats get pretty big up there. Not so big in Florida. What is that white coating over everything? Haha. Last saw snow in 1982. It must have been a real thrill. They are very wary creatures.
