Here is a quick pic of my two.  The one is a beat up gun with finish problems on the frame, and a bulge in the barrel, but its still a very nice shooter.  I got it because it was cheap, and I've always wanted one.  The other is my recent purchase, and I can't wait to see how it shoots.  One of these days I'll try to figure out how everyone takes such great, detailed pics.

thanks, brad

Hey Brad, that's a great pic. I like the way you arranged them and the wood background is perfect. Now, the bulge thing. Was there a squib at one time? Screwy

I'm not sure, but probably.  It was that way when I bought it.   I was so excited about getting one, and getting a good deal on it, I didn't really look it over all too well.  The previous owner never mentioned it, along with a couple of other things.  A couple of days after I purchased it I was giving it a good cleaning and noticed it while cleaning the tube.  I wasn't very happy, but the thing shoots so good and is still very accurate.  My recent pick up came with a barrel tool, so now I can dissassemble and really check it out, just to make sure there is no cracks or anything like that.

Nice picture.  I seem to always miss something small when I buy a used gun.  Some the guys here take awesome pictures and I'm still trying to get there myself!

Nice pic of a couple nice DW's. I have an old .22 military trainer with a bulge in the barrel. Still very accurate out to 200 meters. As long as it shoots, I wouldn't worry about it.

Welcome to the DWF forum.  If your barrel tool doesn't get the barrel nut, never fear, EKW makes an awsome barrel tool.  You can order one from him by clicking the tool pic on the right hand column of this forum.  I have one and its all I use now.  Also if the barrel bother you, I'm sure you can find another one on Gun Broker, or maybe even some member here might have an extra.  You probably could buy a new one from DW.  Nice pics.

Thanks for the info on the barrel tool.  As far as the bulge in the barrel, it really doesn't bother me now.  What I didn't appreciate was the seller not disclosing that there was a bulge.  Granted, I should have inspected the gun a little better, but I'm not a fan of if they don't ask, don't tell.  But like I said, the thing shoots great, and is pretty accurate, and I got a great deal on it.

thanks, brad
