I picked this one up in a pawn shop in Mesa Az. I thought it was unique with the serial # starting with 357.   unfortunate I did not get any thing else but the gun.

Too bad you couldn't get the holster it was worn in...  now, go shoot it!

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

A little holster wear, but looks great otherwise. Does not have the dreaded scratches on the sideplate - that's a bonus.

Let us know how it shoots.

The caliber became part of the serial number starting in 1986 I believe. Not unusual.

But his isn't that...his is just the sequential 6-digit earlier Monson numbered gun that happens to begin with 357. Pretty cool indeed! cool

both pictures are at 30 ft in door range ( poor lighting). This is the first time I shot the Dan Wesson. I was using some hand loads from my brother with 38 spl. wadcutters.  Not sure if it was just me or the gun but it felt like a 22 .

Nice find, congrats!  I have 2 Dan's. Great guns, my favorite.  Check local gun shows for grips & barrel assemblies.  We have a gun show in Prescott Valley coming week end.

Regards,  Ric.

My collection is tiny compared many others members on this forum, but thanks!  I bought most of them last winter.
