I am new to Dan Wesson, and I picked up an older one. I love the feel of it, and the coloring. From what I have seen in the forums so far, I can only guess it is a 15-2, though the paperwork to transfer it to me said it was a 12-2. I am looking forward to putting many rounds through it!

Nice DW! Probably made around 1976. I’ve not seen grips like that before; very interesting. You will enjoy shooting this revolver!!

No such critter as a 12-2. It is a 15-2 V6. The grips are not factory. They are maybe Hogue, Catawba, or Eagle. Very nice .

dwf-welcome to the dwf

A plum frame is not that uncommon. We call it "Barney" after the purple dinosaur.
