Hey guys I have a blued .22 6" barrel 22 revolver. I think something is off, this a monson Mass model.
I was cleaning the chambers on the cylinder and one of the chambers has rings machined in the chamber where it faces the forcing cone. It is in just one chamber they are all even and equidistant looks like they were machined in, but it is only one chamber out of 6? What the heck?

Maybe check the barrel gap, you can pull it in to .002, but be sure to check all 6 cylinders and gap on the tightest one. Less gap may mean less crap
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
