I think the fixed barrel D11 is kinda cool, personally.
The only drawback is that you can't get the shroud off...so that means you can't get the crane off, either.
I'm not really sure why they did these.
Oh it will come off! I thought it was something some one had added and removed with Ouch leather strap and vice grips!!!  A mistake I wont repeat!
Umm yeah, I won't be doing that to mine.
I'm perfectly happy leaving it the way it is.
