My first pistol pack got it at a local gun show today .

The patch has a couple dark spots on it.The buckle has 1979 on the back and the tool was cracked and glued back together.

Do believe I've caught the D.W bug............Dan Fan is going to help me get this one correct and is also helping me build another from scratch using a blued version with partial under-lug barrels and and non-vented rib worship

Sounds like you are having fun .. Shrouds without vented rib and without full underlugs are  referred to as; "Standard".

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

You have definitely caught dwas

There is no cure, but lack of funds can put it in remission for awhile.

Very nice set! You may already know that EWK is an excellent source for DW tools and gauge sets, one of my first purchases - an excellent resource for many items.

You will need a pack in each shroud configuration, standard, Vent, heavy and vent heavy. In blue and stainless. That's 8.  Don' forget to up grade to super status with 10,12 and15" BAs. Then you need shooter grade in at least 2 packs. That now is 10. There is also a variety of porkchops and the large and supermag frames. I recommend a trust fund or a house refinance. dwas

Yeah he wanted 2,500.00.

I tried to do a trade for a M-1 Garand and 500.00 but we wound up at 2,000.00 cash.

May seem a little high to some , you know the saying " now is the time" and Im not passing it up over a couple hundred bucks. Had several chances to buy Colt Snake guns in the past for 1000.00 or less and did not and now look at them.....sky high.

Looks like DW's are doing the same thing so Im jumping on the band wagon.

Im a watcher on that one, looks like it started life as a 6" revolver and since the two barrels are in boxes.Guessing some one was building a pac out of parts.

Last I looked at the auction yesterday evening it was a 405.00...took quite a jump but we all know it is going to go a lot higher.
