It's a 708 or 709, I'd bet, gotta have a pic to know for certain...
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

Is it 5 rounds or 6. If 5 , it's a Lil Dan . If 6 rounds and fixed sights it's a 708. If 6 rounds and adjustable rear sight and interchangable front sight it's a 709. A 708 or 709 is identical to a 714 or 715 except it would not chamber a 357 cartridge.

I thought about that, but the OP states the SN begins w/ 38S, not 38+P so I went with 708/09.
