Hre is picture of 732 with barrel assembly came with 6 and 8 inch cost with shipping $378.00.Eric is making slapside stainless BA for it with wever rail.Gun still needs more cleaning up but I wanted to post pictures.Dthey make 4 inch BA for this gun?

Nice Dan you have there and Yes they make 4" and 2" for these. To bad it isn't blue as i have a couple BA's in 32m. Â

. Â Is it a Palmer gun? Â I ask because as I started to clean and polish my Palmer 740 horrendous machine marks appeared on the frame. Â Basically from the trigger back, circular grinding marks appeared. Â On the right side there were so deep I could feel them with my finger nail. Â I mention this because the polishing became a much bigger job than I anticipated. Â On the plus side, now that I'm almost done it really shines. Â I'll try to start a thread with pics on it tonight.

Yes its a palmer gun ser number 000592 no machine marks all in all pretty nice gun once I cleaned up.If you use 320 wet& dry then go to 2500 then use mothers mag polish it works great on stainless.

Really nice snag, and I don't feel bad about missing that auction. One, because a DWF brother got it and two, it doesn't fit my Monson collection. Of course neither does the AGS...

Glad to hear it cleaned up well and is grind mark free. Â I started with the Mother's and discovered the grind marks. Â Being careful I tried the 2500 grit but that was very slow going. Â The 1000 grit was still slow but I could see progress so I haven't tried anything more aggressive. Â Then I went back to the 2500 and followed it with the Mother's. Â If I tilt the frame just right I can still see "waves" in the metal but it looks a lot better now, almost like it's been plated. Â I've got the cylinder left to do. Â Then it's clean and assemble. Â I need to get a good picture of the frame now that's it done and get the before and after pics posted.

Have you tried Renaissance Wax? Â I just got some but haven't tried it yet.
