OfflineOkay, here's my 722
I stumbled on it with 2 barrels, 2 grips, box, tool, instruction book, and snapped it up right away. I had previously missed out on a blued 22 because I waited too long to decide
The great thing about having the 722 and 715 is that I can start a new shooter out on the 722 VH4, then move up to the 715 VH4 in .38, then .38+P, then .357, and they are shooting essentially the same gun. It's a pretty easy transition, and I do the same with autoloaders, Browning Buckmark in .22lr to DW Pointman in .45, all the safeties, mag release and function the same. Works every time
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Offline722 from NYI corp. Note First Issue Serial number. I have 6" barrel with matching SN / logo as well.
Note the "first issue" logo, all laser etched. These were the first 100 to come off the new NYI CNC equipment. I have swapped the thin black sillouette sights for a wider outline millet rear, and wider front blades for plinking duty. Trigger break is like a swiss watch.
"Pistol pack" is homemade with blue velvet over molded two-part foam in an aluminum briefcase.
marvintm, first let me say welcome to the
Excellent first post with some great pictures. I have several first issue Norwich guns all very nicely finished!
Now for my question how do you know only the first one hundred have the First Issue logo? Is it the first 100 of each caliber or the first 100 revolvers?

OfflineMarvin,
Thanks for the
That is one very special looking revolver. Those Norwich guns are very fine! I was curious about the first issue numbering also. I now have one answer. I have a norwich #50 also, but is .357SM. I also have a 445SM with a forst issue #498. They must have went per caliber?

OfflineNice Marvin!
I wasn't sure where the Norwich 445 first issue numbers stopped either. I have #250 and thought maybe that was the top. But SMF you have one closer to 500, interesting.

), but here she is in all her glory. 4 digit serno and trigger screw in frame. I also have a 6" barrel, but need a shroud. This will go into my custom "Mini-Pac" in the near future.
Arrived in Norwich today courtesy of UPS. I'll post
when it comes home.
