Turns out that this belonged to my town's former chief of police. I actually worked with him at a place after he retired from the department and I was a kid in college. We were friends, but he passed away a few months ago. I'll be keeping this one as is minus adding missing parts more than likely after learning where it came from.

Cool backstory .. I believe the best way to commemorate your friend, would be to repair it yourself, get it back into operating condition and then go shoot that sucker !

That is a really nice looking 15-2 6V, made in 1982-83
