The barrel shroud is from the Palmer plant.

Monson Massachusetts era barrel shrouds have 2 line roll marks:
(Make) DAN WESSON ARMS
(Caliber) 357 MAGNUM CTG

Palmer Massachusetts era barrel shrouds only have a 1 line caliber only roll mark.

EWK are like Palmer, one line,  but the type is larger.

EWK Arms also uses a one line roll mark. The font used is larger and thinner than a Palmer shroud.
Here's an EWK Arms EH "Extra Heavy" slab side barrel shroud example below.
(Caliber) 357 Magnum CTG

Norwich NY era barrel shrouds have one line in fancy writing, that's laser etched on the shroud.

[Edited to add EWK Arms barrel shrouds - Thanks Ole Dog!]

Great info on BA identification .. I was wondering how it could be done without S/N's or City of manufacture.
