Well my 15-2 pistol pac is finally home. I picked it up for a really good deal today. Only the 6" barrel has had 50 rounds through it many years ago. The rest of the barrels are new. The gun doesn't even have a ring on the cylinder it looks brand new! Made in Monson, Mass as well! Can anyone tell me when it was made? SN# 378285. IMG_4144.jpgImage Enlarger

#378285 is probably 1986, possibly early 1987. You also a have a Pachmayr Gripper (the rubber grip) with the DW Medallions, a very desirable item. These are no longer made for DW's, and the DW Medallion makes it even more rare.

Oh, wait, we're meeting up next week to shoot, so the Gripper is total junk and the medallion is a fake, I'll give you $5 for it embarassed

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks for the year, I thought I was going to be getting a Palmer gun but it's nice to see Monson stamped on there. Nice try Steve! I love the looks of the wood grip but I think that the rubber grip will shoot nicer. Also Steve, I got called into work Monday for 1:30pm. Can we do something in the morning? Maybe give me a call Sunday afternoon to set up plans?range-time

Beautiful Pac. The only thing missing from that Pac is the yellow soft plastic cover for the long side of the barrel wrench.  It's rare to see a Pac that complete.

Enjoy.big-grin

I have that yellow cover! I had it off because I was changing the barrels to see how it looked. Thanks everyone!

How about I call you Monday late morning to set something up for Tuesday?

Very nice complete pac! You did well on that one.  Treat it with proper care and it will last a lifetime.

BTW we need a range report with pics after your outing.  smile

Extremely nice. Packs that nice are going for a 25% premium over last year. And next year will be even more. Now all you need is a zebra grip and a round butt conceal grip. Oh and a 10" BA . And a.......

P.S. If you haven't looked behind the foam you will probably find the usual paperwork there.

I'll have a range report as soon as the temps here in CT get above freezing and some snow melts away. I checked behind the foam and unfortunately didn't find any papers. I am very happy the way I got it though. Steve I'll message you tomorrow and we'll figure something out. I really want a zebra grip but haven't found one anywhere for a reasonable price! Anyone looking to sell one?
