Just wanted to show off what I picked up this evening.  To lead off, I wasn't looking to pick up another revolver since I had recently spent a few bucks on a 308 that I had been waiting 15 months on (a Colt LE901-16S), and this is tax season and I am not getting a refund.  I'm not a big fan of the pork chops and exposed barrel nut, but this one caught my eye since it had its' original box, brown paper, paperwork and tools.  It was stated to be a safe queen, but it is not that nice of condition.  It had a Houge monogrip on it, but the label said it originally came with a combat grip.  I just slipped on one of my extra beat up grips on it to see what it looked like on it.  I guess I will be looking for a combat grip now.  It also came with a 2 1/2" recessed nut barrel assembly, but unfortunately it had been dropped at some point and has some pretty bad dings on it.

So here are the cool-pics.

Very shiny for its age looks like! Old porkchops are great shooters just like the newer models.

If you have a pic of a combat grip, I'll see if I have one.

zoommb,

I'm not familiar with all the flavors of Dan Wesson grips, but I took a picture of what was illustrated in the paperwork that was included with the gun.  If you have something that matches up, let me know.  Thanks.

That's a nice looking D11, you did good!smile

If nobody here has a combat grip to spare, you might look on the gun auction sites. I see them pop up from time to time. Here's a shot of my W12 wearing one...

Thanks for showing the picture of yours.  It's better to see an actual one rather than the black and white rendition to help with identifying one.  Yeah, I'll keep an eye out in the usual places and see if one pops up sometime.

Your W12 really has a nice deep shine to it.  That's one of the features I like best about the Dans.

Hi MSM:

Sorry to inform you that my spare is not a combat.  I think it's named after a city in CA.

Sorry I can't help.
