So I’m up to 3 barrels for my 715 and a new cz/Dan Wesson revolver case for gun and barrels. Something is missing, a 6”hv. I see an appropriate one (for the age of my pistol) on eBay, but it’s a little distressed, and slightly above what I believe to be market value. Then there’s cz/Dan Wesson, they have 2 different 6” barrel shrouds available with barrels for a reasonable price. And lastly, somewhere in the dark corners of America may reside EWK slab shrouds, which I’d pay a premium for because they appeal to me.
I found an EWK 2.5” slab that I’d have to buy another 15-2 to get, a little expensive, but I’d still like a 6”.
So, since it’s been so quiet on this site, what are your recommendations?

Keep looking. For those of us that have a bad case of 
we have learned a little patience in looking for just the "right" part.

You can always buy the package deal and resell what you don't want to keep. I know it seems like a PITA, but at least you get the items you've been searching for.

Order the DW-CZ barrel from the website to fill the void. the two styles are "pre-CZ" and "post CZ" Be patient, and save your dollars up for those few and far between EWK slabsides .

Buy the 15-2 with the slab side BA too. Keep buying guns with extra BAs and sort them out as you get a packs worth. Then buy more.

I’ll be curious to see if those sell. I’ve heard that EWK might resume production of them later this year, so now’s not a great time to buy.

I gave up on Erica barrel assemblies years ago. He hasn’t produced any since early 2018
