Here are a couple pics of my new to me 3 inch Palmer fixed-barrel, I picked up about a month ago on GB. It came very dirty, so I shot it to verify function, then did the Average Joe cleaning. No polishing needed inside since it looked like it was shot enough to polish all the parts nice, but it still has a great lockup and shoots great.

It is my first Palmer, and to me seems as smooth operating as any of my Monson pistols, not too loose, not too tight, just right! I will say though that the outside shows rougher finishing than any I have seen so far and many underlying tool marks. Sideplate fit is snug but very well fitted.

One thing I noticed that I like, when I lay it on its side with the cylinder open, the cylinder stays up as in the last pic. All my Monson .357s, the cylinder wont stay up it falls back down. It is nice to lay it open at the range just to signify an unloaded pistol while retrieving targets etc.

Ok here are pics, it didn't come with a box so there will be no initial suspense wink

Great looking 715! I have it's twin in my sig pic this month.laugh

I agree with Jagg, the unique muzzle on these guns does look pretty neat. So does a barrel nut though, but in a different way.wink

Great look!

Is it a "Hogue" grip do you have installed?

Jesaja,

Yes that is a rubber Hogue Monogrip, I believe the Palmer fixed barrel models came with these as original equipment.
