Can anyone tell me, who made it and why the guy is asking so much money 799 starting bid? I know one of our knowledgeable members will know. I have to say I have never seen one like it but up here Dan Wessons are not as plentiful as in USA.

Snake-eye, thank you. I wondered if it was a EWK item. I think it is cool but 799$ cool? How rare are they? I have as mentioned never seen one before online or in person.

I wanted to message the seller that it was not rare, made By EWK, and worth about 1/3 of that price but I thought better of it. Sellers tend to get irate when you correct them. There is already one parts seller that won't sell to me and Shoot Straight on Gunbroker won't let me bid. Most sellers are grateful when you correct misrepresentations though. I seriously doubt he will sell it for anywhere close to that price. If it does sell for that I would expect to see a bunch listed lickety split.

EWK probably did not make a lot of them, but Ole Dog is right, they were no more than 1/3 of the seller's price. I guess it depends on how you define "rare" since he is not making more of them.

It seems there are more "RARE" DWs on Gunbroker than there were DWs produced. JMHO.

Grandpa taught me: "NEVER educate the seller!" It has worked in my favor over the years.

I feel you are 100% correct as the seller has had to relist it. But still at the same price? Suppose they will get the message. One guy had a home made case on their for 500$ to start last time I saw it list price was 99.99$

The guy knows what he has, I sent a message on ebay, he lowered to 599$ so I think he may have attended the PT Barnum school of sales, motto "there's one born every day ".
