Hi All!  I've been a lurker here for a while now, and decided to finally join up after I got my 3rd DW (this one)...  I got this from the Cabela's gun library after I lost out on a NIB 445 with 6" & 8" a couple weeks ago.  That gun went for $1971, I stopped at $1955.  Admittedly, a NIB (unfired) 445 would be worth a lot, but I'm kinda glad I lost the auction.  I bought this gun for $1065, and there's a reason for that, but it's not major.

So some guy who owned this gun previously had put a scope on there, and it looks like he had his drunk uncle Cleetus do the D&T.  The top of the frame and the top of the barrel sleeve are still goo'd up with bedding compound.  My plan is to have a good gunsmith I know plug the holes, refinish, and re-blue.  Sure wish I didn't have to do this but it's worth saving a fine firearm like this.
