Hello Gentlemen, I know I ask a lot of questions but how much should a lightly used 7445 SM in the box with 100 rounds of ammo and 100 rounds of brass be going for? Yes I know this is my fourth DW and second SM in less than 2 weeks... whats your point-dwas-say it isn't so, I swear this is the last one this month- I need some more accessories anyway, already got a new blued barrel for my 357SM.winkTIA

Yep, you have it bad my friend..

I guess first of all, condition, location, generation? Original box, any tools? Are the rounds factory ammo? What size barrel?  Any pics by any chance?

I've seen them go for up to $1800 and I believe that was on GB. Although it might just be me however I think Dan's are on the rise cost wise.

Frankly, when we're talking SuperMags, the ammunition and extra brass really add value out of proportion to what you would see with .357/.44 mag. My vastly uninformed opinion is that every piece of brass (if you are a reloader) might add $1???

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

In good shape, that could easily bring $1500-$1800 on auction.

Get on GB and do a search of completed auctions- ones that actually sold to a bidder.  Add $ 0.50 for every round and piece of brass (never trust a reload...)

GB auction # 368594841 ended 2 OCT 13 with BIN for $1399.99
GB auction Auction # 438336482 ended 5 SEP 14 for $2,280 w/ dies and #341 brass and styrofoam box
GB auction #445225169  ended 14 OCT 14 for $1126 gun, 44mag dies and 89 pieces of brass
GB auction #  479373309 ended 3 May 15 $1,425, SN IHMSA-219
GB auction #496924943  sold 30 JUL 15 $1480 SN IHMSA-180

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I just bought one last week. Unfired 6" brass and rounds are like Gold. I had watched GB for about a week and now still 0 445 or 7445's. Saw a LNIB buy now 744 for 1999.00 I'd say 16-1800 is a buy-now for 7445 and shells. It's worth whateverdwassays it's worth lol2

Just a quick question. Are the with "100 rounds of ammo" reloads? If they are and I don't personally know and trust who loaded them, I won't shoot them. So, after using a bullet puller their value to me would be brass and bullet. I won't even use the primers. Pop em and decap em. JMHO.

I think you received a great selection of advice already, especially about the reloads.  If you are around the $1300.00 range you are probably in the right hood.

I've never used an escrow service on a gun purchase, how does that work?

If it's in that price range with all the services AND you are comfortable with the price, then I would say you have done your due diligence.

Well, stay up all night counting your cash for one last time before you convert it into something much more tangible and satisfying.

Nice job on getting a .445! You'll be the most popular (or hated) person on the range when you touch that one off.

This is interesting, and maybe something new for us to learn about.

If you can, please share more about this process, costs involved, finding escrow agents, ...
