Would a 715 shroud fit on a 740?  I know the barrels are different but what about the shroud?  (I ask because there is a shroud on GB with a scope mount and I don't want to drill my 740 shroud.)  Thanks in advance.

Sorry. The 715 is a small frame gun and the shroud won't fit. I believe it is too small to slide over the larger barrel of the 740.

Thanks Mike.  Dang I guess I just need to buy a 15 so I could use the shroud.  Wait a minute, I haven't bought the shroud.

any large frame shroud will work, not small frame though...

As for flowers and dinner, the next gun is gonna cost me a weekend vacation.  Luckily I've got some change saved for that and Labor Day is coming.
