Many years ago I had several conversations with an executive of the Shawmut Line, who was also deeply involved in the formative years of Dan Wesson. There were several locomotives that were painted and named for firearms manufacturers as part of the Bicentennial celebration.

He also owned the original, first production Dan Wesson revolver (no serial number) that was set up on a display board and used by sales reps at gun shows and shooting expositions. My guess is that it is still in family hands somewhere.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Cool info Steve.
