But them darned things are SO expensive. So I decided today to order a MechTech conversion unit. Guy at MechTech swears it will work with my Dan Wesson Razorback pistol.

I wonder if that is legal in those weird NE states. If not, I want one. Will it work with any 1911?

Supposed to. You may need a parablock accessory if you have a ramped barrel. The also make them for Glocks (Shudder!)

It appears to be legal in my weird NE state, after all it's just an upper.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

A couple of years ago I got to fire a friends for a good length of time. He had it on a .45acp. I was firing it pretty far out and there was a good amount of bullet drop...I guess I was pushing it's limits. Can't remember if it was 50 yrds, or more. Anyway, it was flawless. I would love to try the 10mm, bet it punches a lot better than the .45acp. You will enjoy it.
