Read the article above this morning and it's disturbing what's happening in our society! As a technology professional I'm fully aware of the dangers of letting our children have unsupervised access to the internet. It's difficult enough limiting their exposure to the negatives of our society as it is!Â
For anyone with daughters I would highly recommend a book titled âStrong Fathers, Strong Daughtersâ by Meg Meeker, MD. I read this as a new father after Emma was born and I was enlightened. I had no idea about the peer pressure that young girls experience and what a negative impact that advertising can have on a child.

After reading this book wife and I decided what we would not allow our daughter to have a TV in her room. Emma being 6 going on 16 doesn't like it but one day sheâll thank me! Itâs amazing the content that is shown during the hours that children watch TV. It seems every other commercial is about some miracle pill or dating website!  Â
