Some of this is like what has occurred in Connecticut. I need to show my Carry Permit to purchase ammunition. There are a couple of other exceptions, one being an Ammunition Permit, which still requires a background check.

Magazines over 10 rounds needed to the declared to the state, and possession of a magazine not formally declared is a felony.

The only "assault weapons" that can normally be purchased are "pre-ban" qualified

FYI-an AR style rifle is an Assault Weapon, a Ruger Mini 14 is not (but magazine restrictions still apply.)

The only waiting period to purchase anything allowed is the time for your authorization to process through the State Police Firearms Licensing Unit, a wait of about 10 minutes to ...God only knows, and only during their business hours, which are fairly good, evenings, weekends, etc included.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

If HRC wins the election, I fear a web of these type of regulations will descend upon all of us.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

Absolutely, and odds are good that her "Gun Czar" will be the current Governor of Connecticut, Dannell Malloy. He forced through all of our most recent restrictions after the Sandy Hook shootings, and is basically a screaming pile of crap as Governor. I'm certain he will get a position somewhere in a Hilary administration.

One tidbit on "Stuttering Dan": recently he took his son's carry on bag around a TSA checkpoint, by virtue of being accompanied by his State Police bodyguards. Son went through TSA, his bag did not? BTW, I'm pretty sure this was not the son with a felony conviction for drug related armed robbery (for which he got probation).

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Steve, sounds like the plan is large inventories of 10 Rd mags and ammo.

Well, I might suggest that for everyone. When Hilary is elected, there will be a buying frenzy not previously seen in the American firearms marketplace.

I already have all the guns I think I need, not to be confused with what I want. Except maybe a 12 gauge pump gun?

I have a fair supply of ammunition in .22lr, .223, 9mm, .357

I also have lots of brass, primers, powder, bullets, equipment  to roll my own in .357, 9mm, .45 ACP, .223 (and it is especially good that I can now go .357 in long gun and carry)

I regularly buy .22lr when I see a good value locally, pretty much to keep me above 3000 on hand

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Woah - and people think Canada has strict gun laws, some of this takes the cake.   3000 .22LR are rookie numbers, you need to up that Steve.  😉
