The first is pretty long, and goes through Field Stripping the 1911. I like it because it goes very slow, with very clear video on taking down and re-assembling a 1911.

The second carefully reviews 6 function/safety tests. It's much shorter, and I have not done these in a long time. These same steps are included in the "Buying a Used 1911" topic.

Those are both very helpful. I hadn't previously heard about test #6.

I also wandered off & looked at his two trench art videos, those are pretty cool.
