I picked this up a few months ago at a local gun shop. Had been put on consignment sale, and included the smith's bill for a considerable amount of work: national match barrel, reliability package, trigger job and a few other things. It's gorgeous, like new, fits my hand like a dream. This is my first DW pistol though I have several super mags (.357, .375, .445) and a .460Rowland revolver. Now I'm on the hunt for a modern (i.e., CZ) 1911 to round out my collection. Looking for either a bobbed .45 or maybe the 10mm.
Here's the pointman and then with her sister 1911s (clockwise from top left: Kimber Tactical Entry II, Pointman, SW1911PD and Kimber Classic Royal.
357 Maxi, 375 SM, 445 SM (blue & SS), 44Rhino & .357 Mags V15 & W12, .460 Rowland, pre-CZ Pointman 1911 .45acp, modern Guardians in 9mm & .45acp, Pointman 9mm and Razorback 10mm. Always on the lookout for something new!

You're a 1911 guy thats for sure. Those are all top notch ones you have there. I have a couple in the Colt and Springfield models. I have been looking for DW, but man they have gone out the roof on their prices. I saw a couple of Pointmen in the 800.00 range, but the others are in the 11-1400.00 range. Enjoy those fine weapons.
