Well, the ten-day California wait has ended, and my brand-new PM7-45 is finally home. The first order of business was to strip the gun down and clean it. It had been fired at the factory as evidenced by a modest amount of carbon that cleaned right up. The slide and other parts are tight! She cleaned up very nicely. I never really feel in control of a firearm until I have stripped, cleaned, and reassembled it. Here, no problem although the front bushing assembly was, well, tight!

Congratulations on bringing home a real beauty.

Very nice looking DW 45, the 10 day wait must have been hard on you. Don't understand, here in Tennessee they run the background check on the computer, takes about 10 minutes at most and you and your new purchase are out the door. I guess thats just weird California.
