Dan Wesson has discontinued the ECO for 2020; CZ has discontinued the Rami for 2020.  Does anyone know if Dan Wesson/CZ have a new short barrel 1911 gun in the works, maybe patterned after the DWX Compact on the Rami frame?

If so, I want to get on the waiting list.  I wanted an ECO but was unable to secure one before they were all gone.

CZ is in the process of acquiring Colt, so outlook for new models from DW is even bleaker. Hope DW makes it through these rough waters!

I hope that the acquisition ends up with the higher end M1911a1 pistols crafted by DW, and the more utility grade pistols coming from Colt..

But, consolidations often mean relocation and diluting the team employed in the highest level workmanship...

Hartford isn't that far from East Norwich, is it? About 125 miles up the coast?

Pretty sure DW is in Little Rock now. Norwich is just a skeleton crew for now.

I recall that part of the Hartford facility was/is used by USFA to build their SA revolvers that are patterned after the Colt SA's. (united states fire arms.) they are really finely made guns!
