Just put a new CBOB in jail on Friday, I was wondering if anyone has tried the Crimson Trace.

I'm curious about fit. Thanks in advance for input.

I haven't tried Crimson Trace sights yet, but they do look like they would work nicely.

I'll get it next week, I will defiantly post some G-porn.

I read in the 1911 forum the the Top edge of of the angle cut

stuck out on the V-Bob, I was concerned the C-Bob might have the same issue.

since I'd have to ship it in I want to make sure it fits before I order.

I have a set of Crimson Trace grips for the full size non-bobbed 1911s.  I've used them on a PM-7 and a Heritage and they work very well.  Only thing is, if full daylight visable range is limited.  I find over 7-10 yards, I have a tough time finding the dot.

Anything worth doing is worth doing well.

and a closer look at the bobtail .....

..... my only con would be with the undercut at the trigger guard  the activation switch falls between my second and third finger. I have to think about pressing and it keeps me from grabbing as high as I would like..... just my observation .....if I wear a glove it doesn't matter

edit ....... after a little break in the activation is a little easier.... now I can get my grip high under the trigger guard and still press the button.
