I mostly shoot Bullseye, both "officially" and for enjoyment.  I was thinking of buying a PM9 for this, but I'm not sure how suitable the gun will be.  Any advice?

For 45 I shoot a Les Baer Premiere II, and I've also got a dedicated wad gun set up specifically for bullseye competition.

Like I wrote, the PM9 would mainly be for "fun" shooting, not competition.

Usually 9mm isn't the most accurate round for ultimate accuracy. That said I'm sure for a range gun a PM9 is more than accurate plus it is a breeze to shoot.

Shooting 9mm in a full size 1911 is an easy day of target practice/ plinking.  I really like shooting the PM9.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I owned a Les Baer PII 9mm for many years and it was a fantastic 1911.  I’ve never owned a DW 1911 yet.

Guess it depends on the distance. I shoot a 9mm Guardian in IDPA (10 to 25 yds, free standing). I have found it very very accurate, once I had a red fiber optic front sight installed. I believe the PM comes with that from the factory. If you are going out 40 plus yds, I have no idea.
