Aside from colors, sights, and weight is there anything different between the Bruin and the Kodiak? Any input on your experience with these guns good or bad would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a '19 Bruin and haven't had any issues, but I only have shot it a few times. It tames the 10mm cartridge nicely with the extra barrel length/weight. The Kodiak has a rail and bushingless bull barrel bull barrel so it has a little more front heft (3oz.) than the Bruin. It also has an ambi safety and is sans the front cocking serrations that the Bruin has. I really haven't read any complaints or heard of issues inherent in the two models on all the other 1911 forums I frequent.

Man thank you for the input I really appreciate it. I sure love the tri-color of the Kodiak. I think that helps make my decision easier to pull the trigger, so to speak. Thanks again brother and have a Merry Christmas
