Hi All,
I haven't been on the Forum much lately, but I still have a bad case of DWAS. I'm the [soon to be] proud owner of a 10mm Bruin. Should be taking delivery sometime next week. This'll be my 6th DW 1911, but my first 10mm and first long slide.
The pistol appears to be LNIB but is only coming with one mag. The seller says it's a Kimber mag. Well, I can't have a pistol with just one mag! I plan to buy at least a few more.
Any suggestions as to what mags you've had good luck with, or any you'd suggest I avoid, would be appreciated!

Metalform mags are what came with my PM 7-10 and I've never had an issue with them. I also have a few Wilson Combat mags and the same can be said of them. If you want to try either, LMK and we'll link up in Moss Bluff, Westlake, Sulphur or the Chuck. I'm about 12 miles south of DeRidder. Ron

I will agree with Ron and second Metalforms. They are actually the magazines DW supplies from the factory.

Hi Ron! LTNS! It's been probably a year since I've been on the Forum to speak of.
We still haven't managed to meet up, after all these years, but maybe this would be a good opportunity. It'll be another week or so before I take delivery of the Bruin, but once I get it, maybe we can meet up around Sulphur, and I'll buy you a cup of coffee and borrow a couple mags to try out!

Well, the Bruin showed up on Sunday, and I'm pumped! It's slightly used but looks BNIB! Tried to post a pic, but it wouldn't work. 
Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but hope to take it out for a spin in the next couple days.

I do not own a Bruin or a 1911-10mm, but it should be a std. 1911 form in 10mm. In 1911, I've always had the best luck with Mec-Gar

Thanks!
My understanding is that any 10mm 1911 mag should work. Just wondering if folks have found some that work better than others. Academy shows a Mec-Gar 10mm on their web site, but they're out of stock online and at my local stores.

UPDATE!
I was finally able to take the Bruin out yesterday. Merry Christmas to me!
Function was flawless, 10mm is a hoot, and on my 2nd mag I shot a nice tight 8-shot group at 10 yards, freehand. Tried to post a pic, but my Internet illiteracy caught up with me - no luck.
Managed to scare up a few new mags locally, and all worked fine. So, kudos to Ron for his offer of a couple loaners, but it doesn't look like I'll be needing them.
I've always loved my DW's, and now it looks like I've become an instant 10mm enthusiast!
