Is your question specific to Dan's or just in general on the 1911 series platforms ?
For instance, the full size 7 & 8-rd. magazines will not fit in an Officer's (3") model, which requires the 6-rd. mag. The 8-rd. mags will fit in any full-size frame (Government 5" and Commander 4.25") and are not any longer, they fit an extra cartridge by using different follower & spring.
As long as the frames and grips are Mil-Spec, they should interchange. One gotcha is the cutout for the ambi safety, if you have one.

RE- Magazines; All boils down to dimensions and cutout locations for mag catches. You can get extended magazines that hold many cartridges- or even drums.
CM 10rounders have a good reputation
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I was mainly asking about DWs, waiting on PM 7 and wondered what would
fit if I wanted to. Saw some nice two tone wood grips on ebay listed for bobtail ?

Bobtail would be a different grip, I think it would fit but look a little funky
On the subject of magazines, I use Chip McCormick Power Mags and have never had a problem or concern with them
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yep, full size. I always prefer stainless magazines, and SS should have been original

Yes, any standard full-size grip will fit. The magazines should be stainless, but has a black plate pad that extends below the frame.

Yes, those will fit your PM, but are only 7-rounders. Unless you are wanting them for factory originality purposes, get good aftermarket 8-rd. magazines.
