OfflineI must admit I've been hearing great things about the Dan Wesson for a number of years, so I was really looking forward to the first outing.
I was shooting mild 357 reloads, I don't like shooting maximum loads on my guns. Barrel gap set to .006". Barrel nut snug. Shooting from a bench barrel rest.
With the first couple of shots and the 8" barrel I was not pleasantly surprised. The bullets impacted 3" Left, 2" low at 20 yards. I cranked the rear sight over to the left, to the stop. No relative change in impact point.
The 6" barrel was not much better. 5" left, but on elevation. ![]()

Any thoughts?

OfflineWell the groups don't look so bad. Maybe I misunderstood what you did but when adjusting a rear sight you should move the rear sight in the direction you want the bullet to move. So If I understood what you did you moved the sight in the wrong direction. Keep at it and I am sure you will find the sweet spot.
