Just went to a local gun show and saw a Monson 15-2 with V6 barrel for $399, no other goodies included. Vendor wouldn't go any lower...today...
Different seller had a very nice looking 714-2 with 4" barrel for $425, didn't ask about that one.
May go back tomorrow and see if they're a little more reasonable on the price of that 15-2. That vendor told me that he just sold a six-barrel set, including a 15", on GB for $2500! Anyone know about that?

I'd pick up that 714... not many of them out there. I have one, not too many on the DWF.

I agree with Shoot, that 714 is the real deal there.

714's are a nice piece! What happened? update us with your new scores! IS the 714 Palmer FB or Monson or???? sorry a cure has not been found, (dirt nap is the only one)

When I went back Sunday, the 714 was gone. Sorry DWA, I didn't take a closer look at it on Saturday because I was trying to do the sidestep shuffle through a double lane of people, and I'm more interested in getting a decent 15 right now.
The 15-2 was still there, but they still wouldn't come down on the price. I got him to remove the band so I could check the trigger and so on, and the trigger pull felt like I was trying to drag my finger through a box o' rox. I put it back down and moved on.
