I have a lead on an original owner pistol pack in like new condition. Only about 50 rounds fired through it when he first got it (or so he says) comes with 2.5, 4, 6, 8 inch barrels as well as belt buckle, patch, case and wrench. It is a blued finish with stock Dan Wesson wood grips. Any idea on the value? I have some pictures I can email as I can't figure out how to upload the picture to here from my phone.

in VH "Vent Heavy" configuration, and properly stored with no cosmetic issues, anything up to $1500 would be reasonable. Be aware that if a Pack like this went to Gun Broker, it would probably go for more.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

The only issue with the 2 1/2" is that it is lying 180 degrees from the others.
If you can get that Pack for $1100, BUY NOW.
The only circumstance in which I would mess with a lower offer is if you know that he won't get any other offers. The wrong person (for you) could start a bidding war that could push the cost up.
$1100 is really good for this Pack

Thanks everyone, looking forward to next week Steve
Although we can't shoot them at my local club, bring your pack along. We can check it out.

One concern i have is doesn't the sight on the 2.5" barrel look to be backwards? He's asking $1100 OBO
The 2.5 inch barrel is just facing the opposite direction of the other ones in the pack, its fine.
(Muzzle is pointing to the right, instead of the left like the 4 and 8 and mounted 6 inch barrels)
You can tell by the cut out for the ejector shroud on the barrel, the barrel nut, and the Dan Wesson roll mark.
I've zoomed in on your picture some, and brightened it as well to help show this a bit more clearly.
There's nothing wrong with the 2.5 inch barrel, the pack, or the price. Hope this helps relieve your concerns some about the 2.5 inch barrel.
I would have bought it right NOW! I'd have hated it, if this became the one that got away.

I agree with Steve. Once you get it home, throw the Pac fabric in the wash, it's dirty!![]()
Now that I have purchased DW .44 mag I found a very nice xtra 6" barrel. But the really good news (from reading all the replies) I just bought a DW 357 like new w/2.5-4-6-8" barrels,in the original case and even besides the 2 wood grips a Pachmayr. $650.00. Looks just like the one pictured but w/xtra grip.
